Jul 09, 2020 Launch Parallels Desktop but do not start the Windows Virtual Machine; Open its configuration Hardware Sound & Camera; If this device is absent, you add it to virtual machine configuration, by clicking the '+' sign at the bottom of configuration window. Provide Parallels Desktop with access to microphone (starting from macOS Mojave). With either Parallels or VMware Fusion, you can start with a clone of your Mojave installation or install one from scratch, and then keep Mojave running in a bottle forever. With Parallels Desktop and Mojave set up, you can decide later if you want to pay after the trial expires. Parallels Desktop fully supports the direct installation of Mojave, relying on the Recovery partition that’s part of macOS.

Run Parallels Desktop 14 on a macOS Mojave Host
If you are already running Parallels Desktop 14, you can move to macOS Mojave without issue. If you are running an older version of Parallels Desktop, upgrade today to ensure you are fully compatible with macOS Mojave. If you are new to Parallels Desktop, go ahead and upgrade to macOS Mojave and then download a free trial of Parallels Desktop 14.

macOS Mojave as a Guest OS in Parallels Desktop
There are several ways to install macOS Mojave as a guest OS in Parallels Desktop :
- Install from the recovery partition (Figure 2)
