What is AnyConnect?
AnyConnect is a Virtual Private Network (VPN) used to connect securely to WCM sites. Many of our systems and services are designed to block access to anyone who is not on the WCM network. AnyConnect allows you to log into our institutional network with your CWID and password, so you can access what you need to work off campus. You can use AnyConnect on your Mac, PC, iOS or Android device! Learn more in this video:

I already have a VPN client installed on my device. Do I need to download AnyConnect?

Yes. AnyConnect is more secure because it uses Duo dual-factor authentication to confirm your identity. Older versions of VPN will be retired later this year; more information on that is coming soon.
If you already have AnyConnect on your device, check to see if you have Version 4. If not, you should upgrade to the new version.
